How best to travel

The nearest airport to Cadiar, where the hotel is located, is Almeria.  However many budget airlines do not fly there.  Most airlines fly to Malaga.  Cadiar is approximately a two and a half hour drive away. 

Granada also has an airport, but again, it is not served by many budget airlines.

If you are hiring a car from Malaga Airport, take the Mediterranean route out of the airport following signs for Malaga, Seville, Granada and Almeria. After that, follow signs for Motril and Almeria. After about 90 minutes, the road turns abruptly north, heading towards Granada.  If you stay in the right lane, about 25 minutes later, take a right turn towards Orgiva and The Alpujarra.
